Today, I am excited to announce the general availability of VMware vSphere Platinum, the latest edition of our industry leading compute platform, VMware vSphere.

Included in vSphere Platinum is VMware AppDefense that extends the core capabilities of vSphere to deliver purpose built and application centric security. It uses machine learning to learn and lock application behavior and monitors against this “known good state”.

The result is enhanced application visibility and context, a reduced attack surface and rapid threat detection and remediation. By providing a single source of truth, vSphere Platinum fosters better collaboration between IT infrastructure and security and compliance teams.

Enterprises can now implement a comprehensive security architecture for their datacenters that is easy to operationalize and has minimal impact on performance. They can run, manage, connect, and secure their applications across the hybrid cloud.

To learn more about the capabilities of vSphere Platinum, read our introductory blog.

For a limited time, we have a 50% off discount to upgrade from VMware vSphere Enterprise Plus and vSphere Enterprise to vSphere Platinum. For more information please visit our promotions page.
